Random Tips
This is a collection of random tips as you start your career. Use the ones you like. Ignore the ones you don't.
Scheduling a Meeting
Make sure you title the meeting from all attendees' perspective. "Chat with Joe" is not a helpful title for Joe to receive from Moe.
Avoid the Word "Love"
Save "love" for non-work communication. Don't say "I would love to meet with you."
"To Be Honest"
Get this phrase out of your vocabulary. If you say to someone "To be honest..." it implies that you are not honest at other times. Use "to be candid..."
Write a Thank You Email
Whether it is to thank someone for giving you time or an opportunity, or giving you a gift, take the five minutes to show some gratitude.
